Ms. Sara Freeman teaches band at Duran Junior High School, and is an assistant director of bands at Pell City High School. Ms. Freeman is a 2010 graduate of the Pell City High School. After graduating from Pell City, she attended Troy University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in music education. She has taught in the Talladega City School System, and, more recently, in the Calhoun County School System, where she was a band director for six years. Ms. Freeman is a member of the Alabama Winds, an all-adult community-based wind band. She is also a sister of Tau Beta Sigma, National Honorary Band Sorority. Ms. Freeman’s interests outside of band are crocheting, antiquing, and loving on her kitties.
