Mr. Dylan Layton is the band teacher at Williams Intermediate School and an assistant director of bands at Pell City High School. He also serves as the announcer for the Band of Gold. Mr. Layton is a graduate of Jacksonville State University, where he marched with the award-winning Southerners and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in music education. He is certified to teach K-12 music, band, choir, and technology. Mr. Layton is married to his wife, Autumn, and has one child, Lottie, and a dog, Tucker. His hobbies include serving at his church, cooking, and writing new music.
Mr. Layton’s goal each year is to invest in our students and their future. As a teacher at Williams Intermediate School, he teaches students how to read, understand, and perform music on an instrument and to help them grow into great future leaders.
