Wind Ensemble

The Pell City High School Wind Ensemble is the principal ensemble of the band program. An audition is required and students must be able to play all 12 major scales, sight read on a superior level, and embrace challenges. This ensemble performs academic-focused music that challenges the best musicians. The wind ensemble performs at the state music performance assessment, an annual winter concert, and an annual spring concert. Many of these performers are veteran/All-State players who consider band as their primary activity. This class is scheduled for 6th period in the school day.
