The “Band of Gold”

Pride.  Passion.  Perseverance

The Pell City High School Band of Gold is a competition marching band that has a long tradition of excellence. As of August 2025, the Band of Gold marches 180 strong. The band consistently receives superior ratings at competitions and has won several “Best in Class” awards over the years.

Requirements for the Band of Gold are that you must have played your instrument for two full years. It is also required that you have Pride for your community, Passion for music-making, and Perseverance to push through challenges.
