Beginning Band

The Pell City School System provides two opportunities for students to enter beginning band.  Williams Intermediate School offers a sixth grade beginning band class.  Duran Junior High School offers a beginning band class for both seventh and eighth graders. In beginning band, students learn the basic fundamentals of playing an instrument.

Mr. Dylan Layton is the director of the beginning band at Williams Intermediate School.  Ms. Sara Freeman is the director of the beginning band at Duran Junior High School.
