Mrs. Abby Sewell is a 2022 graduate of The University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education. She was also voted CVES Teacher of the Year for 2025. Although Texas is her home state, she believes God led her to Pell City to help make a positive impact on students’ lives.
Mrs. Sewell has a passion for building relationships and watching children grow into wonderful musicians and individuals. She believes arts education is just as integral to a child’s development as general education classes, often serving as a bridge between curricula while also providing an outlet for self-expression. In her music classes, she believes singing, dancing, and playing instruments are essential in helping students gain a deeper understanding of the elements of music.
