The “Band of Gold”

The Band of Gold is a competition marching band that has a long tradition of excellence in Pell City. The Band of Gold marches 135 strong and competes through the southeast. Recently, the Band of Gold received superior ratings at competitions such as Mid South and Lake Martin Invitational.

Requirements for the Band of Gold are that you must have played your instrument for two full years. It is also required that you have Pride for your community, Passion for music making, and Perseverance to push through hard obstacles.
All high school students are invited into the “BoG” family.
