February Band Updates

Parents:

SHEET FUNDRAISER — We will begin this today! I’ll be handing out sales packets shortly. By the way, do not throw away the sample sheet in your packet! They make GREAT cleaning cloths for glasses. If you do not want it, just leave it in the packet when you turn it in. This fundraiser always does very well. ALL ORDERS AND MONEY MUST BE TURNED IN BY THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH. All sheet sets are $42 per set. Extra pillowcases are $12. It’s a great way to finish paying for your Orlando Trip!

ORLANDO TRIP — We are sending off the first payment for the trip. Just as a reminder, here are the dates and amount due for the trip. Do your best to stay on schedule. Otherwise, I’ll need to remove your name from the list. Payment #1 — Friday, January 12th – $200 per person Payment #2 — Friday, February 9th – $200 per person Payment #3 — Friday, March 9th – $200 per person Payment #4 — Friday, April 6th – $50 per person

IN TUNE MAGAZINE — We have a unique opportunity! In Tune Monthly is a magazine written for teen-aged music students. It is widely read by middle school, high school, and college-level music teachers. This “young musician’s textbook” goes deeper than fan magazines to bring you the “how” and “why” behind all areas of the music business. We now have free access to this online magazine. I encourage each of you to check it out and add this link to your bookmarks: https://mydigimag.rrd.com/publication/?m=53418&l=1 To view recent issues, click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the screen, then select “Archive.”

BAND T-SHIRTS – We have some extra t-shirts from years past that we need to sell. Below is a list of shirt theme and sizes I have available. All shirts are $7.00 each — regardless of size. Please make sure the money is in an envelope with name, amount and which shirt(s) you would like. This will be on a first come, first served basis until they are gone. I will not reserve shirts. Bring the money, get the shirt. Go to www.pellcityband.com to see the sizes available.
